As each cake is individual, pricing of cakes is made as a quote on consultation with our designers. Our cakes are made to customer specification and range in size, flavour, design, constructions and artwork.
Wedding cakes
Three tier cake to feed 100 - 120 people average cost $800
Three tier cake to feed 180 - 200 people average cost $900
Two tier cake to feed 80 - 100 people average cost $550
Sculptured cakes start at $450
Children's and Christening cakes start at $300

Cake Occasions is a bespoke cake design studio offering modern, unique and creative cakes for all special occasions.
Christopher Chavez owner and principal designer of Cake Occasions, is renowned as one of Australia's most talented cake designers.
He is at the forefront of new trends and techniques and takes inspiration for his designs from fabrics, patterns, invitations and ideas from all over the world.
Cake Occasions offers our clients a bespoke cake design service where we create a cake especially for you.
Our cakes are made with fresh, high quality ingredients and we only use the best coverture chocolate in our ganache.
Christopher Chavez is personally invested in the creation of your cake from its conception, construction, decoration and delivery.

INITIAL CONSULTATION
The process of creating your truly unique cake starts with a consultation. This allows us to get to know you and translate your personalities and ideas into a delicious cake.
The consultation usually lasts one hour in our Paddington studio and is a relaxed chat to find out about your ideas and inspiration for your cake and draw up a rough sketch based on your ideas.
We also provide you with a tasting box with 6 cupcake size samples.
Our tasting box contains 6 delicious flavours, but this is by no means the limit of our flavours. Please see our list of cakes and special ganache fillings.
If you have any special requests for a particular flavour combination or a particular cake that is not contained in our tasting box, we are more than happy to create this for you at a small cost.
Additional sample boxes with 6 cupcakes cost $25
WHAT TO BRING
To help Christopher design a cake that is uniquely yours please bring to the consultation
- A copy of your invitation
- A fabric sample of the brides dress
- Magazine clippings
- Ideas of motifs, flowers and colours you will be using in your event
- An idea of your budget, theme, cake shapes.
- It is better to have a beautiful cake that fits your budget than a cheap copy of an expensive cake.
CAKE DESIGN PITCH & QUOTES
The Cake design pitch includes two different bespoke cake designs and quotes based on the specifications from the initial consultation.
Christopher will present two detailed sketches with colour referencing and matching and detailed notes on the construction, decoration and sizing options of your cake.
The pitch is conducted at our Paddington studio.
The designs and sketches remain the property of Cake Occasions.
PAYMENT
We require a 50% deposit to secure the order and the balance paid 10 days prior to your event.
