The cooler weather has started to arrive and with it we have created some cakes with palettes and designs inspired by the season.
Chris created in collaboration with the fabulous Alicia Larriera managing and creative director of Form Over Function this beautiful cake decorated with hand made sugar paste bodhi leaves, a motif that was used through out the couple’s wedding. They also had a chocolate brown, pistachio green and white palette. These are great colour choices for an Autumn or Winter wedding. Chris washed the leaves with a brown colouring and painted in the veins to create the skeletal look. Very painstaking and fiddly work. But the cake is just amazing.
This chocolate blossom cake was inspired by a cake we created last year for a photo shoot and we think it looks even better in brown. The white, brown and black palette is perfect for a Autumn Hunter Valley wedding. Chris hand cut each blossom and created the spray effect by intergrating all three tiers of the cake, rather than treating each tier separately. This is a really nice way to intergrate your motif onto your wedding cake.

Rich, warm palettes are the way to go for the cooler months.
Chris also worked hard on cakes for a mad basketball player, a Dr Who fan and a naughty corporate themed 21st, check out the red, lacy undies and spliffs.

Our clients set us diverse and creative challenges and we LOVE IT.
