As a kid one of the best things about going to birthday parties was the lolly bag at the end, rummaging through the bag and picking out all the best sweets and stuffing them straight into my mouth.

I can’t say much has changed, I still have a terrible sweet tooth.  So when I discovered Amy Atlas and the beautiful dessert buffets she creates I was inspired.

What a fabulous way to serve your guests favours at the end of your wedding or party, guests are given bags and get to select what they would like to take home.

We saw this in action at The Wedding Establishment, Kathy from Nightingales had set up a gorgeous pink and white dessert buffet which all the exhibitors were eyeing off all day. She opened up the candy bar at the end of the day and all the sweets disappeared in seconds.
